Green Valley’s Got Talent provides grants for public school performing arts organizations in the South Santa Cruz River Valley area. Schools eligible are those in the Sahuarita United and the Continental Elementary School Districts.

GVGT Grants are intended to help programs provide resources for the program and build relationships that will mutually benefit the program and the educational community.

Grant Application Deadline: February 22.

GVGT Mini-grant: Up to $2000 per grant application.

Grant Criteria:

  • Performing arts program cannot have received a grant in the last two consecutive years.
  • Grant application should identify:
    • Amount requested
    • Purpose for which the grant will be used
  • How grant applications are scored
    • How does the grant enable the program to build relationships that will help sustain and grow the program? (50 points)
    • How does the grant help the program to address the state standards? (25 points)
    • How does the grant provide resources for the program that are not available through the operating budget of the program? (25 points)

Grant applications should include an essay that includes all pertinent information about the program and may be predominately in bullet-point form:

  • A short history of the program
  • Current program activities
  • How the grant will fulfill the purposes identified above
  • How the grant will enable the program to sustain its activities

Grant recipients will be expected to acknowledge the grant on websites or on concert programs and incorporate the GVGT logo wherever possible.

Preference will be given to performing arts programs that have not received grants for the last two consecutive years.
